Some of the highest incidences of fuel poverty households in Scotland, with 85% of our clients in extreme fuel poverty and almost 20% needing to spend almost all their income on energy (2023). THAW is working to alleviate the impacts of fuel poverty in Orkney every day.

By joining THAW as a member you can ensure we have support to tackle poverty in the county, including the opportunity to:

Demonstrating community involvement by lending your support to the fact that the levels of Fuel poverty within Orkney are unacceptable
Vote at a THAW AGM
Influence the direction of THAW and its activities
Eligible to become a THAW Trustee
